The Unique Advantages Of Ultrathon Insect Repellent
Ultrathon insect repellent is one of the strongest solutions on the market today, and is well worth considering if you are going to be going to an area where there is a high risk of insect bites. Ultrathon was developed within the US military system, so you can be sure that the formula was thoroughly researched, and that plenty of man hours were invested in refining it to become the most effective solution possible. The British army has also adopted Ultrathon as their insect repellent of choice, underlining its effectiveness in conditions where success is crucial.
It is unlikely that most of the people reading this article are going to be involved in tough military combat in areas where mosquito bites could have serious consequences, but the same formula can still be adapted for use by civilians. This is because a lot more thinking has gone into developing this formula than just the idea of producing the strongest repellent. In fact, there are other repellents on the market which contain more of the main active ingredient, DEET, than Ultrathon does, but they are not as effective in combating insect bites over a period of a few hours.
The technology which allows this to be possible is that of a plastic polymer, which contains the active DEET and releases it over time. This has several benefits. Firstly, it allows the Ultrathon solution to be more effective than solutions containing more of the active ingredient, which reduces the risk of the user suffering an allergic reaction such as skin problems. Secondly, it means that the solution needs to be applied less often, which also lessens the possibility of bad reactions as well as reducing the number of times that someone has to stop working to apply the solution.
Another important benefit can be found when you consider the one type of negative side effect which DEET based solutions are prone to. That is mental fatigue, and other brainwave disturbance. The sleep patterns of people who constantly use DEET products are often affected, as is their alertness and mental clarity. You can see why it was such a priority for those in the military to find a solution which allowed them to achieve greater protection with a lighter use of DEET.
Now that this has been achieved, the same option is open to the general public. Whether you should use a DEET based solution depends entirely on the circumstances of where you are going and what the risk of serious illness and disease is. In many cases, you can use a natural solution and achieve enough protection against insect bites. If you are going to be in a mosquito infested area, though, you would be better advised to use an effective DEET formula, and the most effective of these is Ultrathon insect repellent.
